About Shani Jayanti Puja & Abhishekam
Shani Jayanti is observed as the birth anniversary of Lord Shani (Saturn), described in scriptures as the son of Surya (the Sun) and Devi Chhaya. This day usually falls on Amavasya of the Vaishakh month. In 2025, Shani Jayanti will be observed on Tuesday, 27th May 2025.
