About the Puja
Navgrah Shanti Puja and Yajna is an extremely powerful and auspicious Vedic ritual dedicated to all nine planets (Navgrah)—Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu. These nine planets influence every aspect of life, including health, career, relationships, wealth, stability, intellect, temperament, spiritual growth, and karmic energy.This puja is performed to pacify malefic, weak, or afflicted planets in the birth chart (such as dasha/antardasha periods, unfavorable placement, pious or harmful planetary aspects).When a planet is afflicted, it can create obstacles, instability, losses, delays, mental stress, financial difficulties, health issues, confusion, fear, failures, and karmic challenges.To reduce these difficulties and restore balance in life, Navgrah Shanti Puja is performed.With the blessings of all nine planets, a person experiences peace, prosperity, mental stability, protection, success, spiritual advancement, and harmony in life.

Mantra A commonly used mantra during the puja is:“ om brahma murari tripurant kari bhanu shasi bhumi suto budhash ch guru ch shukra shani rahu ketvah sarve grah shanti kara bhavantu ”

Puja Procedure (According to Tradition)
The puja begins with Swasti Vachan and Shanti Path, followed by the Sankalp. Then comes Navgrah Stotram recitation, mantra‑japa for all nine planets, worship of Lord Ganesha, Kalabhairava and Lord Shiva, and special offerings for each planet. Afterwards, the Navgrah Homam (fire ritual) is performed with sacred materials like sesame seeds, rice, lentils, ghee, sandalwood, durva‑grass, flowers, honey, jaggery, herbs, etc. All rituals are conducted strictly according to Vedic tradition, concluding with homam, aarti, and ceremonial offerings. Along with this, the worship of Durga, Shiva, Hanuman, Ishwar, etc. is meticulously performed with sandalwood, kumkum, akshat, flowers, fruits, sweets, incense, lamps, homam, aarti, prasadam, and all other sacred and auspicious items, creating an atmosphere that is completely holy, divine, and filled with positive energy.
