About Online Agni Dev Puja & Yagna
Agni Dev, regarded in Vedic tradition as the God of Fire, is described in texts as present in many forms such as the Sun, lightning, sacrificial fire, household fire, and even the digestive fire within living beings. He is considered a messenger between humans and deities, carrying offerings made during rituals. In Vedic literature, Agni is depicted with two heads, symbolizing immortality and life, and with seven tongues of fire, known as Saptajihva. He is often shown riding a ram. References to Agni can be found in the Vedas, Puranas, Ramayana, and Mahabharata, where he plays a role in significant events and rituals.

Puja Procedure (as followed traditionally)
According to traditional practice, Agni Puja may include steps such as Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapan, Kalash Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, invocation of deities, mantra chanting for Agni Dev, recitation of Agni Stotra, offering of ghee, honey, sugar, sandalwood, and other items into the fire, followed by Aarti and distribution of Prasad. The exact sequence can vary based on regional and family customs.
Priests & Duration
- 11,000 Japas – usually conducted by 4 priests in one day (approx. 5–6 hours)
- 21,000 Japas – 7 priests in one day (approx. 7–8 hours)
- 51,000 Japas – 5 priests over three days (approx. 7–8 hours daily)
- 1,25,000 Japas – 7 priests over five days (approx. 7–8 hours daily)
Puja Schedule
The date and timings for the Online Agni Dev Puja are shared via email after booking. Participants or their representatives may join virtually. A short highlight video (10–15 minutes) is also provided after the puja.
Puja Prasadam Options
Two options are available:
- Donate the Prasadam: The items are respectfully donated to a Brahmin after the puja. A longer video recording is shared in this case.
- Receive the Prasadam: The prasadam is shipped to your provided address.
