About Online Ekadash Rudra Puja
According to the Shiva Purana, Lord Shiva is described as manifesting in eleven forms, known as the Ekadash Rudras. Each Rudra form has its own symbolic meaning, ranging from strength and protection to peace and creation. The Online Ekadash Rudra Puja is a traditional Vedic ritual performed to honor these eleven aspects of Lord Shiva.
The Eleven Rudras
- Kapali: Traditionally associated with fearlessness
- Pingal: Connected with radiance
- Bheem: Symbolizes strength and vigor
- Virupaksha: Described as a divine protector
- Vilohita: Related to fire and purification
- Shasta: Depicted as a warrior aspect
- Ajaapada: Considered a force of protection and balance
- Ahirbudhnya: Regarded as a guardian from natural imbalances
- Shambhu: Associated with peace and creation
- Chand: Seen as a guardian aspect
- Bhava: Revered as the supreme form of Rudra
Puja Procedure (as per tradition)
The Ekadash Rudra Homam generally includes:
- Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, and Sankalp
- Ganesh, Shiva, Lakshmi, Kalash, Navgraha, Brahma, and Agni Sthapana
- Invocation of deities and Navgraha Mantra Japa
- Ekadash Rudra Mantra and Rudra Chamakam recitations
- Abhishek with 108 Bilva Patras
- Homam with ghee, honey, grains, sandalwood, and other traditional offerings
- Aarti and distribution of prasadam

Each of the eleven Rudras also has a dedicated mantra traditionally recited during the puja.
Number of Priests
- 1100 Mantra per Rudra – 5 Priests (5–6 hours)
- 2100 Mantra per Rudra – 7 Priests (7–8 hours)
- 5100 Mantra per Rudra – 7 Priests, 2 Days (7–8 hours daily)
Schedule & Video
The puja is conducted in Ahmedabad, India, by experienced priests. Date and timing are shared via email after booking. A short video (12–15 minutes) of important parts of the puja is recorded and sent to the devotee.

- Donate the Prasadam: Offered to a Brahmin who participates in the puja. A video recording of the items is shared with the devotee.
- Receive the Prasadam: Shipped to the devotee’s address.
