About Lord Ganesh Puja
Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity, is one of the most widely worshipped deities in Hindu tradition. He is honored as the remover of obstacles (Vighnaharta), the god of beginnings, and the patron of wisdom and intellect. Ganesh Puja is performed before starting new ventures, during special occasions, and on festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi. The puja is also regarded as a way to invoke blessings for clarity, harmony, and auspicious beginnings.
Traditional Significance
- Considered the first deity to be worshipped in rituals (Prathama Pujya).
- Associated in scriptures with knowledge, intellect, and decision-making.
- Often performed before weddings, journeys, housewarmings, and new endeavors.

Puja Procedure (as followed traditionally)
The Ganesh Puja may include rituals such as Ganesh Sthapan, Lakshmi Sthapan, Kalash Sthapan, Deep Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Swastivachan, Sankalp, invocation of deities, recitation of Ganesh mantras, Havan (fire ritual), Aarti, and offering of Prasad. The sequence may vary depending on regional or family traditions.
Number of Priests
- 2,100 Japas – 3 priests, one day (approx. 3–4 hours)
- 11,000 Japas – 4 priests, one day (approx. 5–6 hours)
- 21,000 Japas – 7 priests, one day (approx. 7–8 hours)
- 51,000 Japas – 5 priests, three days (approx. 7–8 hours daily)
- 1,25,000 Japas – 7 priests, five days (approx. 7–8 hours daily)
Puja Schedule
The exact date and timings of the Ganesh Puja are shared via email after booking. Participants or their representatives are welcome to join virtually. A short highlight video (10–15 minutes) is also provided after the puja.
Puja Prasadam Options
- Donate the Prasadam: The items are respectfully donated to a Brahmin after the puja. A longer video recording (15–20 minutes) is provided in this case, showing the prasadam items for your prayers. Shipping charges are not applicable.
- Receive the Prasadam: The prasadam is shipped directly to your provided address.
